Ryzen doesn't have built in GPU so you'd need a GPU to view anything beyond the bios. I have the modular 430w one running my 1700 paired with an rx 470 8gb and have no issues

yeah hard to gauge what high end would mean, if you're going higher than an RX 570 maybe something more powerful is needed, AMD recommends 550W but at 30A on the 12V rail and 120W TDP you're still...

nonsense, running a Ryzen is a non-issue. mainly depends on what your GPU is going to be - ex: GTX 1060 only needs 20A on the 12V rail - well within spec
