Just an update, their CS emailed to let me know the Asus N1 tip was back in stock, they quickly mailed it out and it works great! Well worth the ~$19.

Looking at Dell's part site it's suggesting a 65watt and 90watt AC adapter. So I feel that the extra 30 watts is probably for charging and laptop usage.
