that sounds pretty messed up but ive had similar experiences with a promised promotinal e gift card never being sent to me, went through multiple loops and diff people, depts, each time a huge pain...

Careful with these dell promotional gift card deals. While I've had nothing but great experience with slickdeals rebates, dell is the worst. With my last purchase, I never received my $500 gift card....
