fair warning on those running out to get these - there is a quality control issue with the remote and lighting kits. the reviews on costco and hunter are not good. i've had two go bad on me already.

I get that it's not really IDEAL, but I think they make OUTDOOR labelled fans with the idea they will get wet. I doubt high humidy alone will ruin a fan.

The humidity alone suggests that you should use a fan meant for an outdoor (wet) location, and this is not one.
