Not sure what speakers you're using, but if you're using The Sixes with a TV I highly recommend downloading the manual for Klipsch's new R-14PM or R-28PF as it has remote codes in that should work...

Thanks for the insight. I only use the turntable a few times a week, so it will mostly be for the TV. If I end up getting more into vinyl (unlikely), I'll consider another turntable.

If I remember right the AT-LP60's built-in preamp can't be disabled. I could be wrong about that, but if I'm right getting a separate pre-amp is probably a waste of money. To really benefit from...

Yes, I gave it a try and the "service" port will power a Chromecast Audio. The USB input will not however.

I have an R-4B and love it. I looked at the R-10B but it's only for a bedroom TV and that seemed like overkill. The 4B kind of is as well but damn, the sound is good out of this thing.

I don't believe it's powered. It'll be powered by the computer you plug it into (basically an external sound card).

Depends on if your TV has bluetooth. The speakers themselves are connect with a cable between the two, not bluetooth.
