From some of the most recent tests Bitdefender not only performs better than Norton, but it does use less resources. On top of that it found more and had less false positives. Check this site out....

Norton is trash. Last time I ran Bitdefender it was a bloated, slow, nightmare. Switched to ESET and never looked back.
