Actually, the most common “Con” sited in the reviews at urlhasbeenblocked (even the positive ones), is that the printer fans are a bit loud. But perhaps they resolved the issue on more recent models.

This is not going to burn down the house. The hot-end is all metal. The CR-10 is the best printer at it's price point. You don't even have to mod it, it's pretty much good to go out of the box.
