I don’t get your question. Instant rebates online don’t require you to mail in anything. You simply apply a promo code or the discount is automatically applied to the item.

you'd need a loopback adapter for long cables. But very time consuming to test each pin for a professional installation.

I think the important part is that you should send 1 envelope per item purchased. Isn't there an FAQ for each company's rebate. If there's not, there should be.

I meant testing with a meter. I know how these work and they're extremely useful; far more so than using resistance to check continuity on a multimeter.
