Still kicking myself over not jumping on this. My Fender PM-1 is OK at $350 but I'd trade it for this guitar $50 in a second.

So after I saw this here, I was seriously tempted to buy this guitar. Seagull is far and away my favorite brand and best "heirloom" grade guitar on a budget that I know of. Necks are butter, sound is...

It wasn't a price mistake. It was the daily pick deal. The price was 399.99 all day yesterday, not just a few hours.

Could have been a price mistake all along. The price changed back to the regular price after a few hours which usually doesn't happen on a sale or discount.

Absolutely. Buying crap for a starter guitar all but ensures a failure to learn to play. Poor sound from cheap materials, high string action, sharp fretboard edges, not staying in-tune all will make...

I disagree a little. If you get a guitar that sounds bad, it doesn't keep you excited about learning and playing. When starting out, something like this is perfect. Not too expensive and it'll...

I have a Seagull 12 that's stamped made in La Patrie, Quebec -- pretty sure all their guitars are made in Canada as they're owned by Godin (... another Canadian guitar supplier).
