Costco's is 2.1. This s 3.1 . I picked up the costco one it's a rebranded samsung hw-m450 sold specifically for Costco. Personally I'm underwhelmed it does not even get that loud.

I bought this one from Best Buy a while back. I ended up returning it because the subwoofer was underwhelming. My sister said that it sounded like my TV speakers, so I ended up getting the LG SH7B.

you gotta tune the thing and what connection you used also makes a difference + if it was openbox maybe it's damaged ? you cant drive a stick ( manual gearbox ) until you learn how 2 shift !
