I have been using on my S3 & for the last two years NEXUS6P, this app called "Sweet Home!" that can be setup to transfer automatically to a share (assuming your Sammy can present itself as share)....

It's unlikely that will happen. It's a pretty core part of several of the products. They don't have to live forever on Google either you can download them and do as you wish but it's really well...

Smart move. They did the same thing after they bought Picasa. Now it's abandonware. :( Google sucks.

Just don't want to take chances with Google.They might change rules. In the past,I bought a Google Tv ,they simply discarded the product.its kind of obselete.so just not taking chances with Google.

Get a Gmail acct, use Gphotos, your pics are sent to cloud.
