I bought the RM750x then noticed that this was the same price. Was able to return the 750 since I hadn't opened it. No brainer if you want a silent psu with lots of load capability.

G3 750 seems to go about 25db at max, 15~20db at mid to 80 percent load. So it's much better than G2 850 in terms of acoustics and even better than GS 550 at full load. Tad bit louder than RM850X...
