Yes, the cardboard they are printed on are worth more than the cards in almost all cases.

I got a ton of cards starting from '82-'83 through the early '90's. Does that suck for me? Would love to sell them off somehow.

Yep, you are right. The inserts have held value fairly well in modern cards. I started the purge a few months ago, dumping 90's Donruss off at the local Goodwill. They probably burn them, haha.

There is a large group of people who buy cards, but not many deal in modern cards. It is all about pre-70's.

Sets need to stay sealed. To make this better, they need to include the Jeter card outside the box. I won’t open the set to get the card.

The Jeter card will probably be worth the price of the entire set. I just don't know many people into baseball cards anymore, and after spending so much as a child for fire wood I just can't pull...
