yeah you know what i didn't know about this and the space heater has such a small cord so i just went 2 the 99 and picked up a POS $1 6FT extension cord and it worked fine and for a few months...

Not all power tools are over 13A. It is far better to just say 'limit use to the amperage rating of the cord', rather than just throwing out random guidance that may or may not apply.

gota love 15A plugs, with cords that are limited to 13A... i honestly wouldn't use a 16/3 at this length for anything other than decorations.
