With the TCL P series at $650 and the H9D+ at $600 is the TCL still a better value? Seems H9D+ is 120hz but TCL has Dolby Vision.

Hisense bought sharp us TV line. These are being built in the sharp factory that produced the Aquos TVs. Hopefully we get the h10, it's supposed to be very good TV.

Correct! But not just the bandwidth restrictions but the processing restrictions as well, It's more costly to preprocess that much bandwidth. Plus as you pointed out you can't do that with HDMI 2.x...

I do believe newer versions of DP can support the bandwidth needed for 4K @120hz but HDMI 2.X is not able to yet. So if the inputs such as HDMI 2.X cannot handle 4K @120hz, then how is it truly a...

Great question actually. So firsts off 120hz (and 240hz which is less common nowadays) is the sweet spot for Televisions. The LCD panels themselves are native to those refresh rates because it makes...

So if these 4K panels can do true 120hz, why are we still waiting for 4K 120hz gaming monitors when these 120hz TVs have been in existence since last year?

Both are exceptional TV's along with the M series vizio for this price range IMO.

I'm sorry my friend, but I think you may be slightly confused on some of this info. There are absolutely native 120hz panels which are the refresh rate of the panel. The reason you want a 120hz...

OH oops, didn't realize you knew that. Are you familiar with the differences between the two? Trying to decide which one to get.

I stand corrected on that then. I guess that warranty was a bit too generous haha.

They do not have a 5yr warranty, they did offer a 4yr warranty on their 4k sets the first 2 years they were available here in NA. That ended with the 2016 line of tvs though. It's just 1yr now.

For those of you knocking Hisense, I'd do a little more research. Th eyre gaining a lot of market share, positioning themselves for their more premium line models. They have a 5 yr warranty as well....

This tv is an alright tv, but it’s not worth that much I would pay around maybe 500 max including taxes for that tv that’s probably going to last 2 years. “ULED” tv? They’re just marketing just like...

I have read great things about the H10D series. Also I think the H9+ 75" is full array if remember correctly. I could be off on that, though. Been doing so much TV research my brain is a little...

There is no such thing as "native" 120hz. No such TV accepts 120hz input at this resolution. Everything is interpolated. Some TVs can accept 120hz input... but not at 4K. Also, I'm not sure how...
