I don't even buy crappy 16awg anymore. You can't use it with a heavy load and if you accidentally use it with a heavy load under carpeting or mats or leaves or oil you run a fire risk

"for this gauge"? You do realize that the higher the number, the smaller the gauge, correct? 16 is the normal gauge for light-duty extension cords. Normal price for a $25ft 16/3 cord at Home Depot...

If you don't need a 50ft, why buy it... Especially for simi-static uses like running to a drill press or workbench, or to a powered subwoofer. Price great for this gauge cable, imo
