It technically should but the zwave/Zigbee sensors won't annunciate at the panel.

Well it does integrate with SmartThings but it's directly targeted at pre-existing wired alarm systems.

If your house is already wired for an alarm system and you don't want to pay for a monitoring service I would highly suggest you look at this kickstarter

No it does push alterts/alrms to the panel and app. They are saying it won't "report" to ADT.

From what I'm reading it doesn't alert intrusions without the plan. Which basically makes it useless

It's optional but not required, I think it's $40/month if you want it to be monitored by ADT.
