BTW I am in CO and my total with tax was $132.04 so only $8.04 for tax which looks to be 4% of the original $199 price or 6.5% of the $124 price.

I have a humidifier attached to the furnace with its own separate controller. I know this can be wired into the Ecobee thermostats, which would be nice. Is that your situation as well?

Sales tax for Minnesota is charged on the full price before the instant $75 refund. You don't find out until you get to the final ordering page.
