Just want to chime in and say I bought this in a previous SD deal for I think was $46 a year or so ago. I have had no problems at all. The button feel is better than my Ultimate One I got years ago...

Most adults use a remote not a smart phone to control their systems. The smartphone interface is better on the hub anyway and you don't have to point anything at the tv. Your post is funny.

I have 650 and 700. The rechargeable batteries never worked well for me so I tossed them and put in alkaline. Both remotes work great and I've purchased the 650 for others.

Yeah it's been doing that for ages. It's time for a new remote. Maybe the 650 got better but I'll try the 700 and hope for better results.

Have you tried replacing the batteries? I had this issue and it was awful. Turns out it was just the batteries.

i just started looking at a universal remote as of this morning... can you access your tv and avrs menus with this remote? or would i still be stuck with the factory remotes to do that?
