What? Did you even read my post? Where on Earth did you get I was 'pissed that you bought a bottom tier brand'? I am very happy with my set. Trust me, son. I have enough cash to buy ANY set I choose...

Seems like you're just pissed that you bought a bottom tier brand. Hey, the sets seem like good value but they don't hold a candle to other brands. If you don't use them often, then there's no need...

I guess my wife's brand new Dodge Charger is 'low end junk' compared to a Rolls Royce. I think you have your head up your @ss. You are not convincing anyone here. I just paid $150 for a Ryobi...

In for one. Mylowes gives you $14.90 off the set and you can still stack the $20 off $100 or $40 off $200 coupon. Thanks!

If there are some good choices in Ryobi products then that’s fine and we’d all appreciate it if you shared that info. But in general they’re lower end. Glad to hear they’re getting better I don’t see...

I have walked in and exchanged my 40v batteries I use for my yard tools. No questions asked. They just replaced.

@ DeaIzez You are kidding right ? Some of the Ryobi products are better than their high end counterparts (quiet strike impact driver, airstrike brad nailer, brushless circular saw – I maybe...

Ryobi is low end junk. If you want a good set of tools go.with DeWalt 20v/60v. Milwaukee for your 12v stuff.

Nobody makes you buy the "junk" part that every tool line seems to have. If it were that easy to pick a brand and end up with no junk or overpriced stuff, I'd own tools from 1 tool line instead of...

@deardeer Kobalt 6 1/2 inch circular saw has the same cutting depth as normal 71/4 inch circular saws because of how they placed the motor. I think the cutting depth is close to 2 1/2 inches....

Ryobi has their pretty decent brushless line too, just quite limited like Kobalt, much less than Dewalt and Milwaukee: http://www.ryobi.co.nz/power-tools/products/list/family/brushless I agree...

But Ryobi, at least in my experience, is low end junk like Black and Decker (not Dewalt). I have heard good things about Kobalt and this being brushless indicates it is a relatively new tool design....

Ryobi has a huge line of cordless tools, Lowes’ Kobalt line of cordless tools isn’t even remotely close in comparison. I wouldn’t consider Kobalt if I’m looking to start my collection.

I ordered one. My Lowes took an extra 10% off bringing the total to $134.10 and also let me stack the 20 off 100. So $115 plus tax. If it is the saw pictured 6 1/2 inch 24 volt that sells for 129 by...
