Yeah, you can stack years ahead. The only reason to wait to redeem the code is if you don't have gold at the moment and don't want it yet, say if you're travelling February and wouldn't use it...

I used the 40 dollar deal but I did have to enter the code online, it comes up invalid on the xbox. Nothing wrong with paying a bit more to order from a legit source.

$40 for 12 M from Microsoft Site worked for me. Firs it was $60 but when I clicked "sign in" button again it changed to $40.
