I also had the same issue where I went to Santa Ana and they didn't have it in store....I was able to get toys r us to price match based on the app showing it in stock.

I wasn't able to get it to work myself but like the paw patrol tower if you choose pick up in store sometimes it gives you the discounted price online if they have it in stock.
