Just wanted to post a follow up. Received my second monitor within 2 days of order. Flawless picture quality, no dead pixels, only minor tweaks of the color again as before. I will note that the...

Since you have a Gsync Dell monitor yourself already, I would say no. You’ll likely notice the downsizing more than increased refresh rate. Especially in games like WoW. If you needed a new...

I just picked out an Outlet Alienware15R3 with a 1070 and 120Hz g-sync panel for ... the wife I guess? :) I have the a Dell S2716DG(DisplayPort) already for my primary desktop (also a 1070). Worth...

Just about every reviewer acknowledges that it isn’t a noticeable jump going to 240hz.... until you go back to 144hz and start noticing the subtle differences. It isn’t game breaking or anything,...

G-Sync does not improve your FPS. It matches your refresh rate to your FPS. This means little or no image tearing if your frame rate changes.

Please tell me if I understand G-sync right; so even if I had a somewhat underpowered rig due to g sync my fps can be higher due to the monitor not having a set frame rate? Thanks

Weird. I was on 60-75 most of my life. Went to 144, night and day. If I set monitor to 100, or 120(was doing it to see if i could stand a lower one)just to see if I notice it, I do.

I was deciding between this and the 27/1440/144 dell. Went with this one instead. The picture quality next to and OLD ultra sharp 2713h, isn’t so bad. My only issue was that coming 27/1440 I had...

My 2 cents these g-ysncs are totally worth it. I bought a Dell g-ysnc UHD monitor before I bought my GTX 1080. With a non-TI GTX 1050 2gb the quality of the picture on COH 2 was massively improved...

Anything above 144hz is unnoticeable IMO. Even going from 100 to 144 I can’t tell any difference so I usually lock to 100 and then max settings. Gsync does make a difference with tearing though,...

I ideally want a 30"+ 144hz panel, they're just so expensive.. I haven't seen gsync in person though, and the games I play can generally be at or close to 144, so I'm not exactly missing much. But...

If the only reason is to go from 144hz to 240 just keep your monitor this isn’t something worth switching to imo. Unless you really want g-sync I’d stay with what you have until you’re ready to...

How much better woild thoa be compared to an MG278Q? I currently have that, but I also have a 1080. Really only play FPS now. I'd be downgrading from 27" to this, and downgrading from 2560x1440. But...

Good choice, my son has the predator and it looked horrible out of the box he wanted to return it. After some Tweaking it looked much better but he's used to my IPS panels :)

Thanks OP for this. I had purchased one of these monitors around Christmas for $450 from Dell directly. It is a great monitor, but overkill for anyone who isn’t heavily into fast-paced FPS etc....
