Outemu has a bad reputation. I would not buy this unless you really need to save some serious cash for a cheap keyboard.

I have the full keyboard version of this. Keys are loud with a decent amount of travel and action. The paint on the letters is very thin and started wearing off quickly. It is a solid buy for a low...

Nobody (in their right mind, that is..) said these are MX Blues. What you call regular switches colored blue are actually Outemu Blues - a better clone of the original, but even stiffer and louder...

I have this exact keyboard, use it at work. It's a loud keyboard and it is pretty obvious when I'm typing (working) or not typing (browsing the internet).

For those of us that got used without the numpad it's less wasted space, I actually got used to a narrow keyboard and when I used a full large one I felt that my mouse is way too far from my other...

Can you explain why you like 87 key better? Just because less desk space? I can't live without the numpad

Everyone's commenting on the Cherry switches but not this keyboard, the keyboard uses their own switches, cloned after Cherry, but that doesn't mean they're exactly the same.

You can keep an eye out for the Velocifire keyboards, they have gone on sale a few times for a tiny bit more. I use the TKL w/ brown switches at work :)

OR, it doesn't say it was cherry blue and is just another mechanical blue switch. Yes, Cherry switches are overengineered and amazing with their specific sound signature and ability to perform in...

Note this is NOT Cherry MX Blue. This is just regular switches colored blue to fool people who are not paying attention to what they are buying!

I'm using the 87-key as we speak. Yeah it's loud, but it feels a lot better than the aukey board I got. It feels so solid and sturdy, and the keys are perfect both in feel and placement. Love this...

I suppose blue switches are more popular since I consider them all-around keyboard. Other colors are specialize, brown being less clicky, red being easier to press. I use blue at home and brown at...

I used a Model M for a long time, switched to the Tomoko with blues because it was slightly less obtrusive, and recently switched to browns. Nobody has ever complained exactly, but why be "that guy."...
