This was a "lightning deal" 2 days ago - yet Amazon is now selling it at this price regularly. So much for it being a lightning deal!

What if you're not gaming that much? Should you pick the i7 over i5

This is overpriced for what it is. Just cause it has a new I7 they are charging an arm and a leg for it. There were better computers for this price range with better GFX and usually more HD/Ram.

depends on if you want to spend more and if you want to carry around a larger 180w adapter

I actually agree with this. The GTX 1050 isn't ideal for 1080p gaming at High-Ultra. I would say a 1050 Ti and a 250gb SATA SSD are *required* for this to be a true lightning/slick deal.

Of course it is much better. In fact, for gaming it doesnt make any significant difference whether it is i5 or i7.

Price is too high for 1050. Should be 1060 to be considered a deal. Dont be fooled by Amazon's so-called "lighting deal" thing

yeah, i got the dell with the 1060 but only i5 processor. Guessing the 1060 with slower processor is still better for games.

they should put at least 1060 or 1050 Ti on it. the processor is a beast though.

This only has a 1050 in it. Is that sufficient for most gaming (excluding FPS games), or should we shell out an extra $200-300 for a 1060 or 1070?
