for those of us who use a french press, AND also have a means of making espresso .... blade grinders are a no no. $10 is a great price though.

The reason for wanting to ground it is that cheap pre ground coffee will often put branches and stems in bc it's very hard to test for it.

Save it for herb, easy to burn coffee grindings by over doing it. drop a hunny-bee on a good once through, and forget about the price, it's coffee, you don't skimp.

My Krups blade grinder is fantastic. I have a hand grinder as well but I have the timing down with the Krups for consistency. I don't own this grinder, but I would imagine with the good reviews it...

It will grind coffee, sure, and you can take whole beans and brew coffee with that ground coffee, but all the cheap blade grinders I've ever encountered have produced inconsistent grinds that happen...
