If you do a search for Samson, there was a FP deal on the C01UCW for $25 back in January. If you follow the SD link, it's still $25 from Adorama and it's a better mic.

I have the bigger version of this, the meteor that I use for voice chat playing games with friends on PC and get no complaints. This is a about as cheap as you'll get a decent USB mic. Nice find!
