I've used both standard HDMI cables and HDMI cables that are advertised as "premium" and specifically for 4K HDR use and there is zero difference other than cost.

I don't use retroarch so I can't say whether dolphin integrates with it. Dolphin is definitely an android app. You need to sideload but it works great with certain games....

Quality will likely suffer if it's that old, the cable will still work but things like 4K, some audio formats would be lost. Probably best to look at the data on what was available when you bought it...

True, but the new gamepad controller has an 'always on' mic so you can use it just like a google home without having to pick it up and push a button.

I think it does, if that's what I it is called. I turn on my shield and it automatically turns on my denon receiver and tv. Works great.

Well it certainly did a better job than a few of my s905x's for emulation. Overall though, it does crash a little more, from emulation, to kodi, to cemu, etc.
