It’s a common hub to cities further west. I’ve flown to SLC a number of times on connecting flights to SFO.

Yeah, but then you have to fly American, and who wants to do that? Especially when you budget the extra time required to take a post-flight shower. This a GREAT deal.

Slopes closed by then, bad year for snow anyway. Hiking should be fine, if a bit wet. Yellowstone is 6 hours because the closest entrance is closed until midmay I believe. Roads dont open in the park...

American also has round trip flights for between $280-$300 on these dates so is this really a great deal? Will have to do some scheduling magic to make these dates work which is why I wondered.
