I run my TV and AVR on them, but not for the 'shutting down' purposes. I wanted the surge protection in case of under/over voltage. Worst case scenario, I also want to be able to USE the TV,...

Seems like there is some misinformation which is really confusing. I am looking at buying this for TV/AVR/media appliances. Maybe its worth getting one for the desktop/firewall/switch as well. But...

I am wanting something to keep my smart TV and an Xbox on in the event of an outage so I can properly shut them down. Will this be enough or is it overkill? Or should I look for something smaller?

I have a 650 as well that I passed over to the modem, router, and NAS when I upgraded the UPS to my PC. I think the 650 is 10 years old and still at least 2-4 hours of uptime when the power is out. ...
