TVs are just monitors with over the air tuners. If a monitor without a tuner gets marketed as a TV, that's disingenuous. Anyways, every model of monitor has different specs, so if you want something...

Great monitor, I love it. I'm on a 1080 though. Also, the higher you put the "response time" in the menu, the worse the picture gets. At the highest, it looked worse than my old TN panel. However, I...

I did do my homework, and it included Rtings ;) It was a 40" Samsung MU6290, which is considered to have "excellent" input lag. I think it's just the sheer amount of pixels on a 4K display/monitor --...

You'd have to email them to for verification, but I'm pretty sure they classify monitors as tuner-free displays (though I know that term is usually reserved for TVs without tuners). If they were...

I get the 2 year extension, but the 90 day vs. unlimited return window is ambiguous. They call out TV's, tuner free displays, and computers as 90 day items. Monitors are a little ambiguous as...

no tv I've seen will be as good as a monitor, especially for gaming, but they did vary dramatically in how good they are hooked up to a pc. you need to research input latency as response times (2...

A good thing to decide on is, G sync is only good for playing single player games, it's not good for competitive online shooters etc on the other hand this monitor does well for competitive gameplay....

3 months returns, no questions asked. After that, Costco gives warranty support for 2 years. If they can't fix it or replace it with the exact same item, they'll just refund you. The monitor itself...

An update rolled out for the XBOX 1X to do native 1440P, and to support Freesync. I'm not sure you can do 144hz with an XBOX, but the low input lag feature would definitely work the same. So yes, but...

Would a monitor make a difference if I use it with a console or should I just stick to my 4k tv?

1070 wont hit 144 fps on 1440(at most 100), unless your going for 1080p but then you should get a monitor with gsync @ 1080p for sure, 1070 will hit 144 easy at that resolution.

No you can with either brand for 144hz, you would only have the Freesync 2 benefits with a Radeon card, along with HDR enhancements.
