Today is last according to website. This cheaper than the Kingsford deal going .259 cents per pound compared to .265. Better charcoal imo too

That's a nice haul. I did 9 with a set of charcoal baskets and 10/50. I'm still pretty stocked with KBB from last Memorial Day. I got a little lazy over the winter and used my pellet grill more...

FYI - Looks like the sale got extended another week. Online shows price valid through the 23rd. Don't forget to stack a coupon! $10/$50 or $20/$100 really gets that price down.

In for four bags. Tomorrow I'll probably go get another four. Running out late in the season and paying retail is the worst.

This is awesome. I've been looking to switch to Royal Oak from KBB for my regular grilling and smoking; like everyone, KBB doesn't last as long anymore. I could care less if RO doesn't start as fast....

I am in for 6 bags. I have noticed Kingsford shorter burn times since they reformulated and this is a good deal. Thanks O.P

Try them all and decide for yourself. Everyone has an opinion and there is no definitive answer. Carbon is carbon and outside of the amount of fillers they use it's all the same thing.

It's not all that great. Better to cut it in half and put your charcoal grate right on top of a blazing chimney.

The new Kingsford is trash...or ash. It burns quick and leaves a mountain of ash in the grill. It's horrible. I'll grab a couple of the Royal Oak and give them a try. Thank you.

Nearly 0. We usually only see charcoal at $0.26/lb a handful of times per year. RO is usually more expensive than KBB, too.

I switched to almost 100% lump in all of my grilling, after reading up on what's actually in most briquette. Cooking over lump, or wood does make for a hotter heat, and it's not perfect fit for...

Best deal I saw last was a couple years ago where Walmart was selling twin-packs (briquets, not lump) of the 13.9lb bags for $5. So basically $5 for 26lb or 19 cents per pound. I'm not sure if there...

Don't know about RO briquettes, but RO lump was under $8/15# and KB $10/36# last year. You can search SD.
