Maybe it doesnt work well for ants, but I wake up and find roaches dead in the crack by my door; exactly where I sprayed. It's as if they were dying on contact.

I only buy : Granular Ortho Home Defense outside only. Lowes sells this one only. I would never put this stuff inside my home. Granular works great outside.

I use Bifen I/T. It’s the same stuff my pest control guy that I paid $95 every 3 months used. Got the name of the product when we asked him if it was pet safe. Not sure how this differs from the XTS....
