So apparently when I rebooted I didn't wait long enough for the MAC address to clear. I shut everything down over night and it worked this morning. Thanks!

Thanks. I did that (reboot, switch cables, set to auto-obtain). I'll try it with a router. Unfortunately, I won't be able to get one until next week.
