The Vertuo series aren’t 3rd-party capsules friendly. And their dedicated capsules are way more expensive than the original ones.

I reuse/refill my old capsules with myCap from amazon. I buy coffee in bulk then just remake pods while watching tv. It's not a big deal, I really enjoy it.

I use mine daily and love it. The capsules are not that expensive considering I was spending $5 a day on iced lattes now I spend +/-$1

Number of people responded to this in the Q/A section: No . The pods have bar codes imprinted on them to tell the machine the correct temp and amount of water for coffee.
