Yes. Absolutely. The faster NVMe drives (this one, HP 920, Samsung 960, 970) are comically fast. They make SSDs feel like SSDs made spinning drives feel.

For PCIe NVMe....usually 5x the read and 2x the write speeds vs SATA... But you have to look at each case independently to know for sure because some PCIe NVMe aren't as fast as others.
