I disagree, I have around 100 of these deployed to remotely manage client networks and very rarely have them go offline. It gives me complete access to AP's switches, router and tons of statistics...

while unifi system is overall great, i don't recommend this cloud key. it's really unstale and contantly goes offline.

Running mine on a pi, no problems. The new Pi 3 B+ can run off POE, so essentially the same. Updates are just as easy via SSH with commands "sudo apt-get update" and "sudo apt-get upgrade".

I don't need this but I want it. I could install the controller on RaspberryPi and haven't gotten around to it. That's what I don't need this. Right?
