Can someone explain to me why having a battery powered table saw is worth the cost? Feels like one of those tools you aren’t moving so often that you can’t just get a plug in one.

The same reason they don’t make their batteries compatible with other brands tools. The technology is there to create adapters but no brand wants to cannabalize their pricey batteries with a cheap...

It is a shame, I don't know why Dewalt or any other tool makers wouldn't create an AC adapter for 60v or 20v, etc.

i find it odd you're not complaining it doesn't use 10in blades, like a normal table saw... this thing would be far more useful if it was a 120V MAX tool, so it could use AC as well as battery...

see how it takes up 2 slots? that's for the 120V MAX tools (2 60V MAX batteries), not the single battery 60V MAX.

I don't believe that this works. It is only for 120V Flexvolt tools like the miter saw (i.e. tools that use two batteries).

Unlike the Flexvolt 12" sliding miter saw, this does not have the option of a 120V adapter to use corded power. This means that you are limited to the battery only, which can be quite limiting.
