oh yeah i took my avet sx out for some yellowtail fishing. It went great, had about 200 yards of braid, 20-50 yard of mono and it held up great

these days, people fish smaller reels with big drags and high weight braid. 150 yards is still a bit short unless you top shot the reels with 50 yards of mono then a leader.
