I think this is true because the games you buy digitally are tied to your system not your account necessarily. Therefore in order to buy something you need a system for Nintendo to associate it with....

It's a very cool, very smart walking simulator with an interesting plot. You can definitely see where it's headed early, but it's very well done. Some clever special effects and general creepiness.
