Ya I worded it wrong. PC components have longer usefulness now so a 3 yr warranty is more useful. In the past a CPU would be outdated in 3 yrs and you'd be fine with a 1-2 yr warranty.

Not an upgrade. 980 is more on par with 1060 if I remember correctly. Just newer architecture would be the only upgrade. Save your money for now

The 1050 ti should be good enough but I'm not sure about B-stock though. Last item (power supply) I got from evga didn't work. But there will always be deals on something better than a 1050 ti.
