Could be a good option for a travel laptop if you can't work with a chromebook. A full Linux distro would fly on this HW. A little heavy and battery will probably suck, but for $150 what do you want?

try changing the maximum processor power down from 100% to 75% in advanced power setting for both battery and plugged in. also change both system cooling to active.

used it before, thinkpad T series always reliable, which has been being my No. 1 priority. simply upgrade HDD to SSD, it could run another 4-5 years. however 4GB memory seems less to run windows...
