Yeah, but their high-end ones are usually rebranded SeaSonics or Superflowers, which are pretty consistently high-quality. Lower-end parts like this are usually rebranded from less consistently good...

Evga just rebranded other oem’s psus and many are poor quality... yes, warranty team seems to be good, but this one only has 3 years and their current free 2 year warranty upgrade program does...

EVGA has a good reputation, but it's not particularly well-deserved for their low-end PSUs like this one. Although I hear the warranty is pretty awesome.

Yeah, mine was an older model, but also an EVGA bronze non modular 500w. I guess I can't speak for this specific model, but this line and type as a whole. EDIT: mine was a 500B not BR apparently...
