I just ordered this for a new general use build, should be more than sufficient for the purpose until uhd/hdr monitors become practical.

I bought this for $330 two years ago and love it. I use HDMI so can't comment on display port. It is great for gaming and productivity

Seeing as your dell was ips, and your 1ms response time sounds like a tn panel; I would say your previous life was lived with better color production. 4ms is absolutely fine

I got this on the last sale and the light bleed is pretty bad. Even in a well lit room dark scenes are washed out. Other than that it has been great.
