Down to $5.76 now. Bought two to get enough with another item to make $25 and used Discover card for another 5% off in the way of cashback making the price $5.47.

Excellent question. From my experience with candy and deals, 20 cents per ounce is the point I will buy it. This works out to 9.8 cents per ounce so is a really good deal.

Definitely seems isolated on the whole, but there have been issues with what I suspect are bad storage conditions on Quest protein bars numerous times. Probably too many low temp to high temp in...

Excuse me but that is not what you said. These do not "usually arrive stale" as you stated. So that was incorrect info. Why argue by changing your statement after the fact? Maybe you think...

Your last comment reminds me of when I see story about recalls on TV and it says "throw the product away." Ya, right...throw it away when you can take back to store for refund!!!

I didn’t say it expired, just that several people have ordered them and gotten stale candy. That is correct info.

Obvious they need to clear these out. Amazon ought to just send to customers who purchased at full price prior to Halloween.

I posted this same deal the last time, and ordered 2 of them. None of them were stale (I in fact ate some less than an hour ago), though I agree that the quantities seem somewhat imbalanced (though...

Not really true. People will complain and get free replacements, or return them to a store, or just be put off and less likely to buy your brand again. That is a money loser. But they tried to...

Food manufacturers care about the quality of their product. That’s why they put dates. So the customer’s candy tastes fresh. Candy is overpriced as it is, so customers expect high quality.

These expiration and best by dates are most likely made up. Companies like Wal-Mart demand them to put a date on it so they know when it goes bad. If it doesn't go bad, or it depends, they just...
