I replaced a buzzing Seasonic 750W /sent to RMA/ with this 850W. This unit works fine, no coil noise, and the fan actually never kicked in even when gaming. The PSU gets slightly warm, but that's it....

You might be able to change the fan itself of the PSU if you have a bit of soldering skills. Otherwise I can say that most Seasonic are generally dead silent below a certain power draw (250-300W)....

It's not the fan, it's coils probably. VERY annoying, will see what they will response as RMA process. It cost me $29 after rebate, so I have no incentive to ship either.
