I bought one of those shark ion vacuums from Costco, and its pretty powerful, even though it has a small canister. If this thing is weaker than the dyson V6, then its not worth buying.

Let's be realistic here. The vacuum is to tidy up.... It's not meant to be used as a shop vac or to clean up high traffic carpet areas. It's intended use is for tile, wood floors, and small carpet...

How well does this work on hardwood floors? Will the brush scratch them up? I see it doesn't have a soft roller option, and apparently you can't turn off the brush-spin either.
