I don't know why the Macbook Airs are still popular. The iPad Pro is just as powerful for around the same price new and more versatile. Or if you need more power then the Macbook Pro is a bit more.

I just replaced the battery on my 2013 MBA 11" for $129. Back up to 8 or so hours of battery life and it still works very well. If you can snag a good deal on the MBA, at least the battery...
