FYI due to the screen resolution and (weak) CPU combination, be aware that even mildly graphic-heavy web browsing causes slowdowns on this CPU at that higher(1080p) resolution. Playing browser games...

Depends on the school but I would vote no, because there can always be a course which requires additional software and can’t be installed on Chrome OS. Basic Windows models are a much safer choice.
