If you can print then there's a drum in there. The DR-420 drums are rated for 12,000 pages. You'll need to remove the drum and toner (they are attached to each other) from the printer then replace...

It says the TN450 toner requires the DR420 drum. I'm still using the starter toner. Did my HL-2280DW not come with the proper drum? Do I need to get a different drum to use a standard toner cartridge?
